Q & A with Lori

DDSmatch is a dental transition company that truly “connects a dentist’s present with their future,” as we work with dentists who are ready to transition their practices. When a dentist is ready, it starts with a conversation where we talk about their goals, their practice, and their hopes for the future. My role is to listen, guide, and support as we craft a plan to find their perfect match. We walk them through every step and manage every detail using our proven processes, industry expertise and dental knowledge.

DDSmatch is here to help the seller transition on their own terms. Dentists are masters of their craft, putting their patients’ health as their top priority. It’s natural that they might need support when it comes to things beyond that scope. The intricacies of practice sales, practice mergers, dental partnership agreements, associate placements, dental office valuations and dental practice real estate sales are difficult to navigate on your own. In addition to providing these services, we also work with other business professionals and trusted advisors such as attorneys, accountants, real estate professionals, and third-party certified business valuation experts to ensure the smoothest transition possible.

They choose DDSmatch for a few reasons. DDSmatch has a comprehensive approach for dentists from start to finish with our Trusted Transition ProcessTM. Dentists are drawn to our dental-specific approach, professionalism, and our primary focus on the seller. In addition, we are not only a local presence in the transition process, but also a part of a nationwide network that is active in more than 47 states. We offer the Practice Optimizer Experience, a powerful tool for dentists who are still several years away from a transition. This process provides them with a road map to ensure an optimal experience for the practice, the team, and their patients during a future transition. Finally, every dentist wants to know what their practice is truly worth. DDSmatch utilizes an independent third party valuation conducted by CPAs and Certified Valuation Analysts. We’re one of the few companies to do this because we believe our dentists should know the fair and substantiated value of their practice.

I coordinate all transition efforts, listening to the dentist’s ultimate goals and striving to meet them. In order to find the best match possible, I look for qualified potential buyers in person, through our searchable website, and across our nationwide network. I work closely with the dentist, continuously communicating and supporting them so they are always in control of their transition. As we near the transition completion, I manage all the moving pieces in our detailed closing timeline seeing it all through to a successful transition.

At DDSmatch, it’s all about pairing service and expertise to create desired outcomes. The knowledge and experience I’ve gained from working within dental practices in clinical, management, and development capacities brings added value to the dentists I work with. In addition to industry knowledge, I bring a level of care and service to the dentists, believing this is transition, not a transaction. With DDSmatch’s proven processes, nationwide network, and technology, each practice, no matter how large or small, receives the attention it deserves.

I am motivated by collaboration, creative strategization, and continual learning and development. I strive to provide the highest level of professional service with patience and empathy, setting and exceeding expectations while maintaining impeccable communication. My goal is to help dentists prepare their offices and themselves for a practice transition that leads them to their desired retirement goals.
